Refund Policy
Please note that items categorised as Livestock are not covered by the following Returns Policy.
RareFish (Pty) Ltd. manages its Returns Policy on its range of Aquarium Goods in line with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the South African Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT).
Our returns policy on Aquarium Goods lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase and you have not notified RareFish (Pty) Ltd. of your intention to return the goods, then unfortunately we can’t offer you either a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for either a refund or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Please note that we will also require the receipt or proof of purchase to reference the item.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Refunds (if applicable);
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and any reasons thereof.
If the refund is approved a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a period of 30 days.
Sale items (if applicable);
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable);
We may replace items at our discretion if they were received by you defective or damaged but were otherwise fit for purpose.
Shipping Costs;
In the event that a replacement or refund is approved, the cost of the return shipping will be refunded.
